The successful development of 60*4595mm ultimate specification bridge steel marks another new breakthrough in the production width of Yingkou mid-slab bridge steel, and provides technical reserves for expanding the width specifications of other steel types, laying the foundation for Yingkou mid-slab to further expand the field of high-strength bridge steel.
Recently, with the last piece of ultra-wide specification TMCP state Q420qEZ15 with the size of 60*4595*11900mm, the thick-specification ultra-wide specification Q420qEZ15 steel plate produced by Jingye Yingkou Zhongplate Co., Ltd. successfully completed the production task, marking a new breakthrough in the production capacity of Yingkou Zhongplate Thick-specification ultra-wide bridge steel.
This order is used for the Songhua River Super Bridge project in the North Ring Road of Harbin Metropolitan Area. The total demand is 11,000 tons. The materials include Q345qE and Q420qE. The maximum thickness of Q420qE is 60mm and the maximum width reaches 4595mm. This specification has reached the production limit of Yingkou medium-sized steel. It is required that the unevenness is ≤3mm/m, and the corrosion level meets the GB/T8923.1 B-level standard. Due to the large thickness of the steel plate and the wide width of the plate, the technical indicators of the steel plate surface quality, low-temperature impact toughness and plate shape are not easy to ensure, and the production difficulty is very challenging, which puts forward severe tests on the comprehensive production quality assurance capabilities of Yingkou's plate variety development capabilities, equipment accuracy control, and process execution stability. Therefore, before production, the bridge steel variety engineer of the Metallurgical Technology Department took the lead and organized relevant production units to conduct research on production technology plans, formulate components and process designs separately, and formulate special production control measures. Through the optimization of a series of measures such as component adjustment, blank cleaning, heating process, rolling model, water cooling parameters, etc., the 60*4595mm thick specification ultra-wide Q420qEZ15 steel plate was successfully developed, with an average yield strength of 519MPa, an average tensile strength of 630MPa, an average impact work of -40℃ was 312J, and the actual unevenness of the steel plate was within 3mm/m.
